Continuing on with our Weekend Edition, and I found this very lustworthy car over on the Blue Car Appreciation Society Facebook Page, and of course, had to share with all of you. Of course it currently resides in the San Diego region of California, where it can be driven and loved for most of the year, unlike, say, New England, where we are finally seeing the light of day as far as Winter ending…
I have to confess… I really don’t care for Porsche, the cars, the image, or what it now represents. However, this particular Porsche is really one of the more stunning vintage examples I can remember in a long time. According to the listing:
Beautiful Porsche Bali Blue with Black interior A Coupe replica. VW 1915cc Engine completely gone through with all new seals. Currently in a mild outlaw look configuration but have all parts including color matched bumpers, hub caps and hood handle to convert to classic traditional look. Options include Porsche badges, headlight grills, leather wrapped steering wheel, wide five wheels with drum brake skins, disk brakes, power windows, carpeted trunk, aluminum pedals, Talbot mirrors.
Everything about this car is magnificent, from the blue finish, to the details in the interior. I would ditch the demi-bumperettes for a full stock looking one (which comes with the sale) and pop on a set of chrome hub caps, but that is just me. The price is really astonishing though and compared to current Porsche models, somewhat of a bargain at $34,950. Take a look at the listing here, and tell me that you don’t find it Lustworthy!
