The Glickenhaus Baja Boot is one of my favorite vehicles out there. If you’ve not heard of it, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus took inspiration from Steve McQueen’s original Baja Boot and has built a modern version. The resulting rig rips off-road, and SCG plans to build road versions. In two or four-door guise, each will be wickedly expensive but also wildly entertaining. But the racing version is tremendously capable and ready for battle, as you can see in part 1 of the short film below.
An LT1 V8 power the Boot, and it makes 460 horsepower. The racing version swaps the LT1 for a 650-horsepower LT4. It also features 22-inches of suspension travel and massive 40-inch BFGoodrich KR3 tires. You can push the throttle down and drive over everything… likely with a massive smile plastered across your face.
I love the Boot. You should love the Boot. We all need more Boot.
