A 24 Hours of LeMons race is an exciting affair. That excitement comes in many forms, be it the sounds of the cars, the last minute bits of wrenching, and, of course, the on-track action. Some of that on-track action can get a little too exciting on occasion. The Nadeau Motorsports car had its camera rolling when another car decided to take a peek insides the Nadeau car window.

Everyone’s OK.

The video is awesome. Check it out after the break.

    1. First day was awesome!
      Second day was less awesome!
But we did finish without any mechanical issues. The car ran great.
      The drivers… not so much. I pit-manuvered a mofo.

  1. Excuse me, sir, do you have a moment to hear about our Lord and Savior?
(For what it's worth, everyone involved was fine and got back out there.)

  2. Would love to see the view from the interloper's point of view. Looks like they were trying to dive through the 7-10 split and came up with a gutter ball.

    1. I got it-I got it-I got it…
      ACK! I DON'T GOT IT!
The nice thing about LeMons is, this is like an incident in WRC…is the cage cracked? No. Does it still (mostly) run and drive? Yes.
      Please continue, good sir!

      1. LeMons rules require ANY car that touches another car for any reason to come in and have a little chat with the judges. Those deemed at fault get various amusing penalties that embarrass the team and chew up time.

        1. In this case, I think mounting another car like a retarded bull is embarrassing and time-wasting enough. Wonder what kind of penalty they got.

          1. I don't know what penalty they got, but I did see their car parked in the garage with nobody around it, and the timestamp on the photo is an hour after the crash, two and a half before the finish. I seem to remember they were allowed back out eventually.

Here's a super-exclusive photo on the Hooniverse Lemon in a very crowded penalty box

  3. Great little video, as long as everybody's fine. Imagine that adrenaline kick with the wheel just knocking in.
First time I see a shifter move that much in accordance with the road, too.
