Your idea of the glory days of Saturday Night Live will certainly vary from my own. But I think we can all agree that SNL has been cranking out some comedy gems for decades now. There’s a Twitter account called SNL Snippets, which has been posting tons of great examples. I went down a rabbit hole of tweets yesterday. One of the keys to a few of those above is undoubtedly Phil Hartman. He was an ace pitchman whenever SNL asked him to jump into that role.
