Yes, that is one wonderful sticker. There are two more right next to it. It’s clearly something devised by Banks, and it’s connected to something oh-so awesome. I happened to be in their shop earlier today and snapped a few pics. The answer to the titular questions lies just after the break. See if you can figure out what it might be, however, before taking the leap.
That triple air intake would belong to the Banks-powered Freightliner of Mike Ryan. You know, the crazy SOB who drives this thing up the sides of tight, twisting mountain roads like Pikes Peak and the Mt. Washington Auto Road. Banks came on to the team to help Mike achieve more power, and they did just that. The truck is incredibly imposing up close, and it must be absolutely insane to drive.
Why was I out at the Banks HQ? Well, Gale himself is coming on the podcast later this week… stay tuned for that episode to run on July 31st!

Having seen what happens when an unfortunate member of the lepine family gets knocked into the air and makes that one-in-a-million dive into a velocity stack, I take those warning stickers seriously.
And next year I'll definitely grab a camping permit for the event.
Eastbound westbound northbound southbound and
downup, loaded up and truckin.I believe it is "Gale" ..not Gail..but he's cool and won't mind.
you are correct… and I even know that and still made the mistake.
He changed it from the original spelling* when he got into the forced induction business. Gale being a reference to strong wind, of course.
* I totally made that up.
That's awesome… haha
Seeing "Banks", I knew it had to be a diesel.
