Project Binky builders post an Understanding Enhancement

By Jeff Glucker Oct 16, 2019

The Bad Obsession Motorsport team have been slowly building their Celica All-Trac-swapped Mini into something special. As good as the car will someday be, the journey there is incredibly entertaining. The lads get loads of questions and comments of concern with each video. So rather then reply to each one individually, the duo have setup the cameras and are answering a number of questions in one shot.

This is the Project Binky Understanding Enhancement.

Yes, the build is complicated. Yes, the fab work is outstanding. Yes, it’s taking a long time. But a build like this should take some time. Do you need a better understanding of what’s going on here? Watch the video above, and become enhanced.

      1. Personally I like old Minis in off-white/almond or a pale sage green, but that’s more fitting of a straightforward restoration. This one makes me think of competition racing, so I would be inclined towards BRG for a Mini as much as I would blue with white stripes for a Mustang or red for an Alfa.
