Maserati Ghibli SQ4 Gransport …pretend the Alfa Romeo Giulia QF doesn’t exist

This is the Maserati Ghibli SQ4 GranSport. It looks nice. It sounds fine on the outside. And it’s comfortable enough inside. And none of that is really good enough based on how much Maserati wants you to pay for this thing.

The biggest problem the Maserati Ghibli has, is that other better options exist… and you don’t need to look very far to find them. Stick with Italian flair and realize the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is a much better option. Stick within the FCA family but the American (Canadian) side, and just get a Charger.

The Maserati Ghibli is a compromise… you want the brand/badge/looks so you settle for a car that’s just not quite as good as the other options out there.

Jeff…Maserati, Range Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin…do you ever test drive attainable vehicles still? I remember the Fit you drove a few years back, but the fine points of the Maserati offering less value than a Giulia are a bit lost on me.

I don’t have time to watch the video right now. Does it go 185? If so, did Jeff lose his license?

Just wait 4 years or so and it’ll be about $30K.

Ha! Truth. Too bad the repair and maintenance costs don’t depreciate as quickly. Seems they only rise.

Before watching, I pegged this car at around $80k fully optioned. That’s a price I wouldn’t pay for the car even if I had money to burn. $100k is crazy.

Completely agree with your summary of V6 acoustics.
