I don’t know about you, but I think this Citroën 2CV hot rod by Olli Erkkila is like Mary Poppins; practically perfect in every way.
Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day.  It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.

  1. When I was researching Traction-Avants I saw this image and it made me want to build a hot rod with a V8 but front-wheel-drive and no engine cover. Maybe extend the front subframe out so it’s nearly as far forwards as the detached one pictured. I’m not sure what use it would be, but hey.

    1. This is begging for a second engine. Or that flathead V12 plane engine that popped up on eBay or so the other day.

    2. Oh that’s nasty. The best kind of nasty. Thanks for posting this! I was wondering what that would look like in my head recently

    1. What an exasperating website. It’s as if every word has been individually run through an thesaurus until the whole resembles some kind of impenetrable code.

    2. Yeah, I’m going with definitely not, considering the first picture they feature uses the baleen mouth (hell, it’s clearly photoshopped off a MKT), when Lincoln’s already started showing that the Continental’s front end is going to be used on most of their cars.

  2. Everyone looking for efficient transport solutions may now…eh…look the other way:

Oh, and did they mention it’s a stock transmission? Yeah, it’s stock. Like the transmission is stock only. Stock.

      1. Asking me to stop you from this is like asking a bunch of drunk alcoholic students to hold you back from that row of jello shots..

    1. Those louvres are fantastic, people say they’re not functional, but they’re wrong.
      …slices cheese perfectly..
