Great sidecar ride today in SoCal – out to see the poppies. The day was complete when I pulled in to get gas and spotted the most beautiful Alfa Montreal I’ve ever seen. Also, obligatory pic of my ride at the poppy preserve….hmm, color match on the flowers and car.

Also, this song popped up on the radio the other day. “Alpha Romeo” is the correct title. A bit of early ’80s art school rock, I’m sure there’s a proper genre name for it.

What’s with the unusual taillight? A very early or very late example?
Custom. The lid is bonded shut, the original tailight was removed and replaced with one from a beetle. Bungs welded into frame with SS rack.
