It’s time for a Montero update

By Jeff Glucker Mar 5, 2021

It’s been far too long since I’ve done a full update on my 1991 Mitsubishi Montero. Or has it? I don’t know, time doesn’t work correctly anymore. Regardless, we’re doing one today and this is it. Also, in the video, you’ll find a surprise sighting of an upcoming electric truck that happened to be driving on the same trail.

So what do we cover in the video below? The exhaust upgrade, steering wheel swap, idler arm repair, fuel filler hose repair, and overall sentiments and what’s next. Give it a watch!

  1. Cool truck. Loved it since you picked it up, and I’m glad you’re not throwing the entire accessories catalogue at it. Keep it simple, keep it retro.

New front turn signals, maybe? Those look to have suffered from an abundance of California UV.
