Hooniverse Weekend Edition Review: The Questions of the Weekend

Every weekday we have a Hooniverse Asks posting by Rob, and it generated an incredible number of comments, so of course I had to follow suit, and have a Question of the Weekend. I try and keep the questions within the theme of the weekend postings, and they have quite a following as well. Here are a few of my favorite questions of the weekend….


I started the Question of the Weekend series with this question: Wouldn’t you rather have more choice in Color? Of course I was referring to the outside color choices, as the manufacturers seem to be offering only shades of Gray, Black, White and maybe a Blue and a Red. See this posting here.

Of course I did a follow-up asking this question: Should there be more choice in Interior Colors? This generated a little less response that the original, but shouldn’t there be a color other than Charcoal or Gray for the interior? See the posting here.

Independence Day Weekend, I asked the Hooniverse Readers this question: Independence Day, So Which Independent Car Brand Do You Wish Survived? You all had your opinions, so why not re-visit the posting, and have your say?

I then ran a series of questions about what types of vehicles have you considered, starting with this question: Would you buy a 4 (or more) passenger Convertible? Read all the comments about why or why not anyone has ever considered a Convertible here.

I continued with this question: Have you ever considered owning a Camper?

Or how about this one: Was there anytime in your life that you wanted a Conversion Van?

One of the more discussed topics was this: Would you ever consider a Hybrid?

Back into the Hooniverse frame-of-mind I asked this question: Could You Ever Own a Classic Italian or French Automobile?

One of our recurring themes here at Hooniverse is the 24 Hours of LeMons, and I asked this question back in August: What would you run at the 24 Hours of LeMons?

As controversial as the Hybrid question was this one I ran in late August: What is your feeling about Art Cars? We received a lot of comments from within the “Art Car” community, so take a look.

For the last Question of the Weekend, I posed this question to our readers this past September: What would be your priority, Project House Hell, or Project Car Hell? No surprise here, but the House won….
