Hooniverse Weekend Edition: Only in Greece; This was an Audi!

Once again I was cruising around on the “Other Makes” section of Ebay, and I will share a couple of them with you on this Fathers Day. But first up is this carbon-fiber monstrosity that was built in Greece. More images after the jump…

He seems to be very pleased with himself in the fact that MAX Power Magazine did a feature on the car, and it was featured in some kind of a car show draped with a MAX “Model”.

So who actually put this much work into a car that is so hideous? It actually looks unfinished, and the materials chosen are rather unforgiving if you make a mistake in building the car. I don’t know, but I would have rather had the Audi donor car in what ever condition it was in before I would even consider this thing, but what about you? If you want to see the listing in all of its glory, go here!

Shoddy build and unbalanced design, I barfed
But seriously, 80k for that? I would rather just buy a new S5 Coupe and spend the leftover money on making it perform more godlike.

Regardless of the final result and its builder sense of taste, a lot of work went into this car. It is quite puzzling to then that the builder could not spend the time or money to make a proper movie clip of it… At least film it during the day and edit out the wait at the stop sign! Add a shot or two of the car driving by. I guess this was shot at night due to its lack of road legalness…
About the car itself: two aspects are a bit scary: exhaust right above the rear tires (gives a new meaning to melting tires), lack of upper structure in case of a roll over. Oh and I almost forgot: it's ugly!

It's a lot of work and quite an achievement, and I suppose that the builder should be quite pleased. Myself, I wouldn't touch anything within that cordon sanitaire with a ten foot pole.

      Or an eleven foot rope.

I can't decide which is skankier, the car or the blonde. I'm with Mr. Sarockin, I wouldn't touch either of them.

It looks like something out of a cheap super hero film. The car also.

Looks like he was trying to make a better Enzo, but failed at it, either that or realized there was no hope. The girl on the magazine cover is nice though…

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

This is one technology that I would love to be able to use for myself. It’s definitely a cut above the rest and I can’t wait until my provider has it. Your insight was what I needed. Thanks.

I’m actually quite experienced with this, and I 100% agree with you.
