Hooniverse Weekend Edition: Last Call – Metal Heart by Keith Loutit

Sydney photographer and filmmaker Keith Loutit created a series of short films using the tilt-shift / time-lapse technique, making everyday scenes look like miniatures. Boats bob like toys in a bathtub, cars race like slot-cars, and crowds march as toy armies. This short film, titled Metal Heart, was released over a year ago, but seems to be going viral once again. I like it, and if you have already viewed it, revisit the wonder of this artist. If you haven’t, then prepare to be amazed.

I watched it a year ago, and it's an awesome video. It also illustrates why I need a video DSLR. Adorama.com has a Nikon D5000 with a lens (refurb) for $520, in case anyone's interested. It's a fabulous deal.
