Back in the day I was a pretty big AC/DC fan, and when their concert movie Let There Be Rock was being shown in Hollywood, I talked some of my buddies into going. Featuring the late Bon Scott, the concert footage is, like AC/DC’s music, pretty raw. I don’t remember the whole movie (we had snuck some booze into the theater), but one part of it that I always stuck with me was the Walk All Over You video featuring a Porsche 928 (go figure) with Phil Rudd, the drummer, behind the wheel. For your Humpday morning pleasure- here’s that video. Feel free to crank it up.
Good morning Hoons!
Rock and Roll plus biplane awesomeness makes for a good wake-up call.
AC/DC were a grand touring band
OK, the car is easy. But what about the biplane? Anybody? Bueller…
Stampe SV4-A, according to the fuselage registration code. It looks like it now belongs to Tiger Airways and doesn't wear the same colors as when the video was shot.
Tiger Moth, isn't it.
I thought it was, too, at first. However, I looked up the registration number like joshuman did and he is right. The Tiger Moth has a fuel tank above the front cockpit while the Stampe does not.
Bon Scott-era AC/DC weren't exactly punk rock…..they were more like soccer hooligan/juvenile deliquent rock. God bless 'em.
At most testing to behold if your comment fuctinon works, mine doesnt!
