Hooniverse Asks: What’s The Worst Thing Ferrari Has Ever Produced?

By Robert Emslie Apr 19, 2017

Ferrari is one of the world’s most venerated auto makers, so much so that its mystique is almost greater than the machines that helped create it. The company has a rich history, and many of its offerings, both those for the track and the street enter legend almost upon their inception.
That doesn’t mean the company hasn’t had the occasional swing and a miss. Of course, even those seem to eventually find favor and skyrocketing value. What we want to know today is your opinion on those misses. What do you think is the worst thing this great car maker has ever made?

        1. They also look pretty similar to the wheels used on Jaguar D-types, ie from the days when wheels were engineered not styled

    1. To be fair the “united states” version of the store looks a lot better than the Norway version (Which is what pops up)

    1. Responsible for Fi driver and noted Australian, Mark Webber’s famous quote when he heard one of his mechanics boasting of driving one.
” A Shitbox Soft Top For Softcocks.”

  1. I was going to comment on saying I’d be glad to have the worst Ferrari made. But after seeing some of these examples I’ve changed my mind.

  2. Of all the production Ferraris until the California, I think the consensus is that it’s a toss up between the almost cynically bad 348, (worse in every single way than the much cheaper Honda/Acura NSX), and the related Mondial.
The arrival of the NSX though did spur Ferrari into changing the 348 into the hugely improved 355. but there wasn’t much they could do with the Mondial except make a convertible version.

But I would like a set of those wheels for my Lancia Gamma Coupe which shares the same pcd.
