Keeping my cars clean was always a challenge for me. I just don’t have the patience or the time to spend half my weekend buffing a car. I always found mechanical improvements more rewarding. Over the years I mostly just run my cars through touchless or hand car washes. Once a year I have them professionally detailed. That’s it.
When Mothers contacted us about their new line of ceramic products, incidentally called Mothers’ California Gold Ceramic Line, I asked if they can send me some. And since they did, I decided to challenge myself to properly clean my cars. This is part one in a series of videos on how I used Mothers’ new line of products on my cars, the process of it, the results, and how they worked.
Video Series:
This is Part 1. There rest will be up soon and linked back to here.
- Part 1 – Here I use the products on my 23 year old, 200,000+ mile Lexus GX. Unfortunately the part is cut short by rain.
- Part 2 – I will finish the Lexus and begin a relatively new Toyota Camry to show the differences between using these products on a weathered car vs. a nearly new one.
- Part 3 – I will use the product on my three year old Ford Bronco. Stay tuned.
- Part 4 – Because I didn’t finish the whole Bronco in part 3.
Spoiler: these products worked better than I expected.
