Because it's Monday: Let's Watch This Couple Restore Their VW Type 2 Camper

By Robert Emslie Mar 6, 2017

It’s fun to watch people who know what they’re doing take on fun and challenging projects. It’s sometimes more fun to watch inexperienced folks try to do the same thing. This pair of videos (the second is after the jump) is by a couple of bloggers who are documenting their attempt to bring an early VW T2 camper back to life. The husband and wife title their tribulations Underwood Garage and have a nifty spark plug logo, which means they probably aren’t looking to do bio-diesel or anything despite their hipster millennial vibe.
Check out their adventure and if you like these maybe we’ll check back in on them again in the future.

  1. It’s like they somehow combined hipsters, an I-phone commercial and a tiny bit of car content together. Can I have my 20+ minutes back?

  2. I don’t have to watch this to know that this may be the one time that the restoration is faster than the finished product.

  3. You know what’s even more fun? Watching people who don’t know what they are doing. Better to learn from others mistakes than your own.
