Audi RS6 Avant: It’s good, but it’s not the only option

The Audi RS6 Avant is forbidden fruit on our shores no more. We finally get the chance to sample Audi’s lightning-quick longroof, and it’s a damn-fine machine. But is it the best option out there in its segment? The $117,00 (as-tested) wagon has loads of style, charm, and performance on tap… but it might not be our first choice.

[Disclaimer: Audi tossed us the keys to the RS6 Avant and included a tank of fuel.]

  1. Jeff’s semi-letdown reaction to this car– after all of the anticipation he’s expressed for it– is pretty telling. Confirms my own personal (armchair) preference for the E63.
