2021 McLaren 765LT – How is this a road-legal car?!

It’s wild to me that someone with the means to do so can simply pop out and pick up a McLaren 765LT. No, not because of the price. There are tons of expensive cars and far too many people with way too much money. What is wild to me is the fact that you don’t need some extra licenses or training to own and operate a McLaren 765LT. It is probably the most insane modern vehicle in terms of its performance capability. In fact, this could be the zenith of non-electrified ultra-high performance cars that are also road-legal… things.

It’s bonkers and of course I love it.

[Disclaimer: McLaren tossed me the keys to the 765LT and included a tank of fuel.]

  1. It’s always an odd feeling to see Jeff test drive a car without Sloane’s booster seat in the background.

  2. 700+ HP, 3000 lbs., McLaren handling. Congrats of the career Jeff, I think this is why you do what you do.

  3. Seeing Jeff so completely thrown off his game tells you everything I need to know about this car.
