Alright stop, collaborate, and listen Hooniverse. Ken Block is back with a brand new invention. This five-point-oh grabbed a hold of my attention. It’s a family affair in case I didn’t mention. Will it ever start yo I don’t know. Based on the specs I’ll bet it’ll go. To me nineties cars you can’t hold a candle. With Maximum Motorsports suspension I’ll bet it’ll really handle.
OK, I’ll spare you the rest. Suffice to say, I’m really good at that song at karaoke. Plus I’m a big fan of Vanilla (Robby VanWinkle) Ice and Ken Block so I had to crank this quick story out. Check it out, Ken Block built his 14 year old daughter a Vanilla Ice inspired 5.0 Mustang convertible. It had a full restoration from CarcaineSupply.com (which sounds more 80s than 90s) and features suspension upgrades from Maximum Motorsports, Rotiform Wheels, Toyo Tires, Borla Exhaust, and a Scottidi angle body kit.
Block said the real present will be drifting lessons. It’s gotta be super weird, and incredibly cool to be a kid on this Block.
Between this, and The Straight Pipes’ cheap car challenge, the universe is trying to remind me I still haven’t bought the Fox Body I wanted in high school, and if my grandfathers are anything to go by, I *am* middle-aged.
My five point oh stayed parked all day, but I did take my other car with the ragtop down so my hair could blow.
Except I was wearing a cap, so not that much hair was exposed to the wind. Do I get partial credit? Or does the hair on my arms count?
Only chest hair counts in everything with V8s.
Am I the only one who thinks those wheels are too big and that excessive camber stance is all wrong?
Nope!

I’m going to be honest, I’ve never liked the Fox body Mustangs. While I understand they make for an excellent performance package on the cheap, they just look blah. Especially the later aero cars like this one. I don’t know if they remind me too much of my father’s ’90 Escort, which had similar styling or what, but I’ve never gotten behind these.
