There are some videos making the rounds about Seattle drivers getting a bad rap about winter driving.  That’s like saying people in Texas don’t know how to drive in the snow.  Low-hanging fruit if you will… Utahns on the other hand…  Well we are generally prepared for snow and we don’t close for business when we get a couple of inches on the ground.  In fact, I have been here for almost 14 years and I have had to show up for work every. single. day despite the fact that we have had whiteouts, tornados, etc.  That said, even a small, insignificant storm can thwart the most experienced winter drivers.  In this video you can see there are only a few inches on the ground but what you don’t see it the layer of ice underneath and that cold-hearted bitch I lovingly refer to as “gravity.” [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrJuigh2aCc[/youtube]
