V.I.S.I.T. Sometimes The Ragtop Decision Is A Difficult One

PICT5053

So a couple weeks ago this olelongrooffan was down and around the Palm Beach International Airport after leaving the Barrett-Jackson festivities in the area. I spotted these two ragtops exiting the private hangar area of that airport and realized it would be a real challenge to decide which one of these to take out into the balmy summer night time.

What do my fellow Hoons think? Corniche convertible or E-Type ragtop for your summertime cruising pleasure?

    Cruising: Rolls.
    Hooning: Jag.

      That is the correct answer.

I'd rather do it backwards for more rewarding results:
      Cruising: Jag
      Hooning: Rolls.

The correct answer is you pit them against each other in a drag race. Though dibs on the E-Type.

E all the way, all day. Unless you've got more than one friend.

Both are too obvious, so I'm voting Ford Galaxie 500 7-litre.

Easy. I'll take the one that's still built in Britain.

Well one does not want to look too base and meager now does one. So eat it! I'll save my pounds of cash for something exciting.
That is really cool though. I would take either one in a heartbeat if they were at my disposal.
A 90's mercury capri is probably more my style though. XR2. Ohhh baby. http://providence.craigslist.org/cto/3787195605.h… Kinda hard to say no isn't it?
    They look like this though:

Not for everybody. But I dig it.

Ya, just checked on Wikipedia to confirm, these were originally a Ford Australia deal, imported to the states for a few years.

If the E-Type is an automatic, I'd take the Rolls. If it's a V12 stick, I'd need both.

I'd take a two seater Rolls Royce over a four seater Jaguar any day.
But that doesn't answer your question.
    I'll have the Jag, thanks.

I believe the correct answer to this question is both.
