Truck Thursday: The Scamander Amphibious All-Terrain Vehicle

By Kamil Kaluski Mar 11, 2012

The  Scamander is Peter Wheeler’s last project. It is an amphibious all-terrain vehicle which seats three people, with the driver sitting in the middle, not unlike in the McLaren F1. It is rear-wheel-drive but don’t let that fool you into thinking that it cannot go off-road.

Peter Wheeler past away in 2009, but that did not stop his last creation, the Scamander, from reaching completion. British EVO magazine recently spent some time with this vehicle on the road, off the road, and way off the road, as in on a lake. Check out the video after the jump and more pictures on EVO’s site. And… “Prepare to want one…”

If the video does not work for you, go to the EVO website… it’s good.
