Fellow Hoons, take note: THIS is how you use your garage. More info and a link to some more great images below.
BeeOneOneOh is a site dedicated to all things Datsun 1200/B110 in the ANZAC area. First of all, they get respect for loving tiny old Datsuns, and secondly for the great photography. Apparently, the site’s main dude lives smack dab in the middle of a historic open-wheel racing enthusiast community, because this ’68 Lola T142 F5000 you see here is one of several vintage racers in his neighborhood. You’ll noticed it’s parked next to a mint Sunbeam Tiger (Alpine? Can you tell without popping the hood?) wearing a mean set of shoes.
Take a look at BeeOneOneOh site for more pictures of the Lola.

This Is How You Use A Garage: Lola Edition

I know it was f5000, but this along with so many old Lotus racers really makes current open wheel racers, especially formula 1 cars look dull, of course the 80s f1 cars weren't beauty queens either, at least to me.

Owner of this garage = My hero

Those are three good reasons to park the DD in the driveway…
-
You sure neither of these is the DD?
-
Not really, but it would get +5 if the open wheel was…

What is Hooniversal Fantasy Garage, Alex?
-
I think this qualifies as a Hooiversal Garage Fantasy, actually.

That is a really nice garage. It has cabinets, posters, loads of shelving, a motorbike, and two sexified Datsun's. Is one of those commandment things not to covet thy neighbors carhold? If so, its totally worth it.
-
That garage makes my heart hurt. I need to get my shit together and make my garage look similar. Although I'd have to say that instead of the Tiger, I'd prefer a nice Pantera.
-
Nice garage. Nice pictures. Is the owner of that blog a commenter here? Based on the cars he photographs (vintage japanese cars and wagons) he would be right at home here!
-
That's a Tiger. Only the Tiger Mk 1 (and Mk1a) came with the chrome stripe down the side. Also you can just make out the small badge on the rear-quarter, at the end of the stripe.
-
Cool, thanks for the info!

I've been a Rootes fan since I was a kid (thanks Dad!) Try being the kid in grade school who doesn't car about someone's new Mustang and wants to talk about their Dad's old Imp. Good times.

That is my dream garage. Think he'd straight trade for a 1990 240SX? It's in the undesirable Fugly Gold.
-
Gotcha, thanks!
-
Googled ANZAC, still confused, nice garage though.
-
The original usage was to refer to a mixed unit of Australian and New Zealander troops as an "ANZAC unit." It's been generally expanded to refer to anything that encompasses both Australia and New Zealand together (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANZAC_spirit). Chris at BeeOneOneOh seems to be NZ only, but it sounded cooler to refer to his site this way. I'm sure he wouldn't pass up a decent piece on an Australian B110, either.
