The Ultima Tow Vehicle

Ultima trailer
Here is a trailer being hitched up to one of the fastest vehicles in the world. Your reasoning for purchasing a diesel F-350 and an enclosed trailer to haul your rusted E30 to the track is invalid.

  1. Up until the late 1970s a tow package was a factory option on Corvettes. In 1977 option code ZN1, Trailer Package, only 289 out of 49,213 ordered it.

    1. What were they thinking? Towing a boat or a small caravan? It’s hardly a typical work or only car in the family.

      1. Yes, boats and small campers. I used to regularly see a 1982 Collectors Edition Corvette towing a Master Craft Ski boat. Now it would be good for spare tires and wheels for the autocross set.

  2. Someone mentioned non-conventional towing… Quick! Someone call MDHarr…. ahh. Never mind. 😉

          1. The talking digital dash in my Maestro can be prodded into announcing “TRIP DISTANCE” while displaying a wildly inaccurate (but monotonically increasing) number, so in some sense it works.
