The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 95 – Carrillo Talk W/ Manuel Carrillo III

C&T 95
We started a trend by inviting Jonathon back on the podcast last week, as we had another return guest in the form of Manuel Carrillo of Internet Brands auto division. Manuel is a good dude, and was recently out committing alleged shenanigans with Jason, so we had to have him on to talk about that. Cam, Tub, and Jason are also here, so we had a grand old time talking over each other! It’s almost like he’s part of our regular crew. Good guy, and plenty insightful.
This episode’s topics include: Drinks, Desk, 5-minutes speed talk about how to get into RC cars, the death of Scion, Brad went on a presser for Hyundai’s new Elantra (look for a full review soon), somehow got a flat tire, and Jason drove a new Subaru WRX as well as the McLaren 675LT with Jeff over the weekend. Manuel might be buying a BMW, so of course we rant about that for a while. We talk a bit about how awesome our listeners are. We generally have a great time, and it seemed like Manuel actually enjoyed himself, despite me mispronouncing his name and Cam going gaga over the limited Spanish he knows. Anyway, hopefully you enjoy this as much as we enjoy making it for you!

I had a Traxxas Bandit and Stampede back when I was a kid, and those were awesome R/Cs. Perfect for people starting out in the hobby. The only thing I don’t like is that they no longer offer kit versions. Putting them together was half the fun.
