The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 102 – Camero

CT-Podcast-art
Hey, check it out, we have a new podcast logo for when we post here on Hooniverse! Thanks Pete! It’s really cool, and it’s got a really cool Porsche in it. I love a good widebody without any dumb whale tails. This week, Cam, Brad, and Jason are all together this week to talk about cars and stuff. Brad was recently on a Camaro (Camero) drive in Pahrump, NV. Jason was recently invited to LX Fest, which is a festival for Chrysler LX chassis cars (Charger, Challenger, 300, Magnum, and ostensibly the Lancia Thema sedan, but I doubt any of those showed up…). Cameron did some VANOS work on his SO’s BMW, and now he wants a motorbike. He’s got two-wheel fever!
This week’s topics include: The Three D’s, Camaros, Chryslers, Kias, Death Valley, Inside-Baseball California Road Names!, Brad’s Boxster is in the shop again, our new podcast promo site (coming soon), and a bunch of other tomfoolery. Join us in the fun!

I thought the combination might raise some eyebrows, but I draw what I like. Glad to know you feel the same.

I am slightly ashamed to say that I actaully have a Waffle House Records song in my iTunes library. Even though I’m not normally a country music fan, I was randomly searching the iTunes store when “Save Me” by Kaitlyn Rogers caught my attention and I liked it enough to download it for $.99.

This might be weird, but I think I’m more excited about the Cam(a/e)ro 2.0T than the ZL1. It’s just a little disappointing the pricing has it right on top of the Ecoboost Mustang despite being the base model, especially since GM doesn’t really have any cheaper performance options (the Sonic is a perfectly cromulent little car, but the RS is ridiculous). I would especially like to see a Camaro vs 228i showdown.
