You know, if my eyes are not deceiving me, that looks like the European round socket plugs on that extension cord. 220V, baby!

An extension cord taped to a block of wood then connected to a power strip that is floating on water with two foam sandals then connected to what appears to be an electric grill all while people are in the pool. This is amazing!
Those are some excellent pictures from Poland! Very pretty.
My girlfriend's dogs also love trying to eat bubbles. They never tore the curtains down though. Happy Friday and I hope everyone is feeling better!

smz, szm, tlc……..Friday is finally here! So, how you doing, Mr. Mom? It sounds like illness is around your household again. That's all you needed. You do what you gotta do though. How are the kids now? How is Kevin? I think it's quite a coincidence that the whole family is sick and you're thousands of miles apart.
I heard on the radio this morning that my area of CO is dryer now than it has been in 20 years. They have fire bans in many counties now. I guess TX is in dire need of moisture too. Mother Nature is a something else.
TGIF!

skaycog…
Happy Friday! Do you have anything planned for the weekend? I just have the typical yard work and then my sister's college graduation party/father's day party on Sunday. I love parties as there is always good food (and hopefully cheesey potatoes)!
P.S. Interesting find you have for this new chasing thread.
7404 -
mzs, szm, gps……So far, I haven't been logged off here….knock on wood. How do you post two pics in one comment box? I tried this morning, and only one pic appeared with the typed link appearing for the second one. I just replied to myself with the second image.
Glad you feel better. Isn't it amazing how long a person can sleep when ill? Holy cow, you slept 11 hours!
It's too bad Kevin will be away on Father's Day, but it sounds like you're going to have a nice day with your dad.
I hope you all three are feeling much better from now on.
7406 -
TowerofPower……You have a busy and fun weekend planned. Congratulations to your sister for her college graduation!
I have no big plans for the weekend……just the usual of running errands, shopping and cleaning with church Sunday. I'm going out to dinner Saturday night, so like I said, a pretty typical weekend for me.
Have fun at the celebrations!
7407 -
Hi Skaycog,
Holy cow I realized during the course of this day that I did not just sleep last night! I went on jalopnik and there were replies to me. I knew I had woken-up a lot coughing in the night, I even have a netbook next to the bed, so not so strange I would go online, but I read what I wrote and it said I had made a pizza in the night! Sure enough there was a box in the recycle, and they take the garbage away on Thursday mornings, so it must have been in the night! And slowly it all came back to me. I went to bed with a temp of 98.9F which is not great but not a fever, but I must have been kind of loopy. I was using the downstairs computer for part of it, I checked what I was up to, I had gone on atomictoasters, jalopnik, hooniverse, and naughtybits (that one's not work safe). I made a silly comment on oppo that I wold not normally, I think, but I was nice and silly only, phew. I checked the netbook, it gets better, on the screen was a page from victoria's secret where I had been ordering a bikini called 'the cheeky bottom' in turquoise bottom and turquoise/white polka dot 'Liya Push-up Halter Top' ha ha ha! Oh man, but I had not ordered, I wrote to Aga that I did though just now π But it gets even better! At one point before I went to bed I read the cooler article on AT, and that led to strange dream, I'll write about that later, because Jake wants to play.
Have a good one,
4708 -
smz, szm, ffa…….There's a video about an armless man on the front page now that really gets me. Just wow.
What in the world was going on with you doing things online when you were asleep? Are you on some kind of meds? That's pretty scary to me. Could a 98.9F fever cause that? Weird.
I've just about finished my Saturday chores with only a few things left to do.
How are you feeling? The kids?
4709 -
Hi Skaycog,
Yes I got some medicine from the doctor, no antibiotics, he thinks it's a cold, but for sleeping. I think that did it. I coughed and woke-up a lot more without it. i also have some to help with the cough. My brother was a sleep walker, this is not so bad. It's like have you ever driven a car and finally you get home and you realize you were on autopilot? If you think back you can recall a lot even. It's was like that. Don't be scared, cause you'll scare me then π Anyway I hope I am pooped enough tonight that I just stay in bed! We did a lot of stuff today. I woke-up feeling pretty bad and my father-in-law called. He is taking a business trip to Germany and wanted some help with his presentation, so I helped. He also does computer stuff, but he is very self conscious about his English, though he is great with it really. Then my uncle called, seemed him and my mom are not getting along again, grrrrrrr. So I went over to his place. I helped him with some landscaping. I also Michelle and I frilled. We had to take Max, he would not leave the car. They have two dogs, he had a blast, though he went into the forest and is a mess again! Then we left and did two stops at stores. When we got home I took Jake to a birthday party. I also took Michelle, but I did some of the stuff with her like rides and mini golf. Then we went home, fed Max, ate as well, and returned for Jake. Then we watched Futurama and made the second gift t-shirt (this one for my mom, we made one for my dad earlier). Now I am off to bed!
Good night,
4710
PS: I forgot the silly dream. So I am reading a lot of Calvin and Hobbes now. Also there was that cooler aerticle at AT I read right before bed. I had this dream where I went into a princess castle. Inside on bunk beds were Dearthair and engineerd . They were discussing a commercial where old cars from a junk yard came to life and then Hobbes drove them. The main parts of discussion were how the cars must have had no bottoms from sitting out in the open for so long and what a shame that Watterson would have allowed Hobbes to have been used in such a stupid ad. My subconcious is strange.-
Ha Michelle and I grilled, but that was a funny typo!
-
-
zms, mzs, clu……..Happy Father's Day and the same to your father. I'm sure he loved his t-shirt. You have been really a busy mom, haven't you, especially with the kids. It's great that they are involved with many activities. How was your sleep last night? Hopefully, you didn't do weird things again. Your dream was hilarious! It's really weird how we dream such dumb stuff. Most of the time I don't remember my dreams very well, which is a good thing. DUMB!
4711 -
Hi Skaycog,
Thanks for the well wishes! The sleep was not good last night since I did not take that medicine, you kind of freaked me out π But I have to take it today, cause what happened is I woke-up early but too late to take it at that point, you're not supposed to drive and what not, and I simply could not fall back asleep π But still we had a fantastic day! We went to the zoo and then to my parents' house. We took Max along and he played with Molly. Jake is sleeping over until Tues and Michelle has classes this week, so I get to go to work. Adults to talk with! Well after 4 days maybe there will not be much time to talk but a lot of things piled-up. Some neat things, at the zoo we got to 'pet' stingrays! Now here is the best part, I've done it before, but this time two of them came-up to me above my hand with their gills open and get this I gave them tummy rubs! How cool is that!? And after a while their wings would flap, like a dog might kick a hind leg, hee hee hee. I got wet then though π Another thing is cute but sad. Jake went to get socks and he found an old bib in the closet from when he was an infant and showed it to me. He said, "Look how small I was!" Awwwww, my last baby is not a baby anymore… I just finished the laundry, now I need to do dishes and make lunch for Michelle for tomorrow. There's a little problem here though, I forgot what she liked! It was something strange like mayo with cheese on the sandwich. I'll have to do that in the morning.
Good night,
4712 -
zsm, zms, moo………You're welcome! Don't let me freak you out about taking meds, even though what happened was very weird. You need your sleep, no matter what you put on the internet. π What fun it would be to play with a stingray. That was a cute story. Did you ever figure out what sandwich Michelle likes? Cheese with mayo on bread sounds like something I would have liked as a kid. One of my favorite kid sandwiches was peanut butter and sliced dill pickles. It doesn't sound that good at this time, although I might try it again sometime.
Happy Monday!
4713 -
$kaycog…
Hi! Was your weekend well. On Friday my sister came to my house and we watched The Dark Knight on my TV with her new Bose i-pod player. Man did it sound amazing for such a little audio source! Saturday was just lawn work. Sunday was fun! My uncle brought his new-to-him Corvette. A 1981 black-on-black that looks just stunning! My dad and I took it for a drive…what a hoot! The party was a lot of fun too with much pork. After the party we picked strawberries from my dad's garden. We managed to pull out 29 quarts! It's amazing how many strawberries he gets out of that patch. Lots of rain in our forcast starting tonight…I wish I could send some your way. Have a good rest of your Monday!
4715 -
mzs…
Happy Father's day (late)! You had quite the weekend! Your sleep-interneting story was sure interesting. I can get kind of like that if I take NyQuil for a cold, so I tend to avoid it. At first I thought the website naughtybits had something to do with computers but I'll wait until I get home to find out for sure.
Stingrays like belly rubs too huh. I guess this proves that every animal in the world just wants a belly rub. Have a good evening!
4716 -
szm, msz, ekg……Yeah, it wouldn't be much fun talking about family BS if you take your mom out to dinner. There's a time and place for everything (so they say), and an evening in a public restaurant isn't the place. I'm with you on that.
I love animals and love seeing them in zoos. Oddly enough, I love looking at the snakes, and I hate snakes and am petrified of them. They are fascinating to see, especially with a glass barrier between them and me.
Have a good evening at home…….hope you're feeling better.
4717 -
TowerofPower…..Hurray for your uncle having a Corvette! Is this his first, or has he had one before? I had forgotten about your dad's strawberry patch, but now I remember that you pick them every year. Twenty-nine quarts is a lot! YUM! I love strawberries, and they are exceptionally good this year in the supermarkets.
I too wish you could send some rain this way. I think some parts of CO received some today, but I'll find out on the evening news, I guess. We didn't get any where I live, but it was considerably cooler today.
4718 -
Hi Tower!
That site can be gross, be warned, but a lot of times it's funny. Tomorrow is bring your kids to work day, I'm taking Jake here. It's always fun.
Hi Skaycog!
I am still not well, but I am feeling better than I was when I felt the worst, so I think by the weekend I should be fine. The class Michelle was signed-up for is a play, she got the part of the scarecrow in a cross between Wizard of Oz and Wicked. She's really excited. And yeah my family can be really dramatic, but I love them, everything is so passionate with them.
Have good one,
4719
PS: 200.0lb this morning! I was losing weight again this whole time, but decided to not write again until I reached my next magic number, did not want to jynx myself. Of course tonight I am eating steak, ha! -
msz, zsm, pps……Ah, the Wizard of Oz. I love that movie, and I've probably watched it 10 or 12 times. I'd be as excited as Michelle, if I could act in its play. Good job on the weight loss! Eating steak is okay, in moderation. Also, it's mostly what you eat that accompanies the steak.
The rains missed us yesterday, but surrounding areas received some. Not enough to help the drought, but it did help with the fighting of wild fires. Pikes Peak even had 4" of snow yesterday morning. They closed the highway halfway up due to the road conditions to the summit. Tourists were interviewed at the halfway mark, and it was on TV last night. They all loved the snow, but were disappointed that they couldn't drive all the way to the summit. There was a family from Houston, and the kids went crazy in the snow.
Happy Taco Tuesday! -
Hi Skaycog,
That's cute news segment about snow playing kids from Houston π I am in big trouble tonight, because with the steak I will eat french onion soup with bread and cheese, crackers, bread, cheese, salad, and baked potato. It's just what I always have there. My mom will probably have the ribs, or maybe the beef stroghanof if she gets the usual. Max got a walk from Aga's friend today. He really likes her, this morning after his walk with me when I told him, he was all excited, it was sweet. He reacts to her name.
Have a good one,
4721 -
szm, smz, cbs……Enjoy your dinner with your mom, and I hope you have a pleasant conversation with her. If you eat all that bread and cheese, along with steak, salad and baked potato, you're going to bust. Hey…..enjoy yourself tonight and make up for it tomorrow. (Or not).
My best friends have a black lab, and she really loves me. They'll tell her I'm coming over, and she gets real excited. I can give my girlfriend a hug, and the dog will shove her way in between us. It's hilarious!
Enjoy dinner with your mother……good luck!
4722 -
$kaycog…
My uncle has had several Corvettes but they have mostly been older and in somewhat disrepair. He fixes them up a bit and then sells them again. This is by far the best specimen that he has owned and he got a great deal on it as they guy needed to sell it since he was moving to CA.
Only 19 quarts of strawberries last night. It looks like the cold spring compressed their season so he might not break 100 quarts for the first time in 4 years. While at my parents last night a deer bedded down in the back yard while we were eating dinner. It was acting really weird, we are guessing that she got scared during all of the thunderstorms yesterday and just needed to take a break under their lilac bushes. It was very cool to watch!
4723 -
mzs…
I never remembered to go to that website. Oh well. Taking your kids to work day should be fun! I think it should be allowed all the way through high school since the older kids would have more understanding of what is going on and could apply it to their career planning. Does your work do any planned activities for the kids that come in. I know that here at TDS they have some presentations for the kids and they also had a room full of Legos this year and I was very tempted to join them!
4724 -
TowerofPower……How neat on the deer. I never tire of seeing them, as they are so cute. They are in my neighborhood, so at night I'm extra cautious when driving. A couple of years ago, there was a mother with twins in the area. They even made the front page of our little newspaper.
It sounds like your uncle has made a few dollars buying and selling his Corvettes. Good for him!
It's officially Summer now, and they have already turned up the heat around here. Still in a drought.
4725 -
Hi Stormies,
I'm trying to get in the groove for big cleaning before bed. I had to wash Max again because he was digging in the mud and I also vacuumed one floor, but it's a mess here and Aga gets back tomorrow! i don't have much time!
Tower,
We had a strawberry patch when we lived in Oswego, that was great, though did not have nearly as many as your father gets. Also we had trouble with them spreading out of the patch. What does he do for that? The day is called DASTOW here. They plan a lot of nice activities. I happen to have a bunch of it online! But here are the videos (I sent all this to Aga):

So there are shows that they have, also they let you see the bison and the fire dept, there's a lunch, and i took Jake to the Science Center as well. Oh also the 15th floor has exhibits and he liked my office too (there are pretzels).
Are you sure the deer did not have chronic wasting? The storms were outrageous here last night until about 2AM. We slept in the basement. It was scary to drive home after the restaurant. Three stop signs before our home branches started going across the road back and forth. We were lucky nothing bad happened in the area thankfully.
Skaycog,
My boss caught me using the office scanner scanning neat things the kids had made in school to send to Aga. So he wanted me to show him everything I had been doing with the kids. Yikes, he now knows I have a facebook page, going to have to keep my nose clean! Eh probably not, he's seen me at game night and in Japan. Anyway I figured-out how to share that photo album on facebook so anyone can see it:
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.67677916…
Also here are the school things, though this is pretty dull maybe to you:
https://picasaweb.google.com/msliczniak/School?au…
That's very cute how the black lab come between you in hugs! The dinner was great really. Though Michelle told the waitress that it was my mom's birthday and my mom did not want any singing or anything like that, oops π I really have a lot of cleaning though, but wow what a great interview with Gail that was tonight, glad I checked before.
Have a good one,
4726-
Oops forgot this one Skaycog, it's what the kids did for fun tonight, made a little play called ninja princess:

zms, mzs, tdy……..You better get your house cleaned! Has it been three weeks since she left? I'm sure the time went slow for you, but it really zoomed by for me. I went out to dinner last night at Chili's and had my beloved shrimp tacos' fix. Did your mother get on a family conversation that you were dreading last night? Did you eat all the bread and cheese that you said you were going to eat?
Was your boss okay with you using the office scanner for personal purposes?
So many questions…..so little time.
Edit: Cute video of ninja princess……quite the little actors, aren't they?
4727 -
Good morning Skaycog,
Everybody is here now! They are funny actors aren't they! Today I see Wizard of Oz.
Have a good one,
4728 -
szm, msz, ddt……I have a chance to claim $2.5 million by calling a phone number. At noon, a guy with a heavy Mideastern accent called to tell me that I was a winner. All I have to do is call a phone number and tell them my claim number. The guy started out by knowing my full name and called me sweetheart. That creeped me out. He said his name was John Ford, and that he represents the AUMC, American Unclaimed Money Corporation (or Cooperation). I was so taken back that I didn't have anything clever to say. I don't know what I'm going to do with all that money! π
So, your family is complete again. I know you and the kids are glad, and I'm sure Aga is happy to be back home. I hope you got the house cleaned in time.
It's Friday! Woo! Woo!
4729 -
Hi Skaycog,
Yay I'm not getting logged-out anymore! We have two water emergencies today, very busy. One was in kitchen and one is in basement. I don't know what is going on in the basement yet, maybe a leak from a crack, we have had a lot of rain. I did get everything cleaned in time. I was up until 12:40AM and then got back to cleaning somewhere between 6-7AM the next morning. One thing was that some little bit of the lawn I did not finish to mow since it started raining, but I did that Friday. My mom was very nice, but one bad thing was that I took Michelle to the bathroom and then she got the check. I tried to slip her the cash hidden in her purse for the bill when she was leaving but she found it and came back to my car, drat. Anyway I have to finish up in the kitchen now.
Have a good one,
4730
PS: I imagine you'll be able to eat all the fish tacos (and shrimp ones too) you want now that you are a multimillionaire! I had Chimichanga on Friday. It was the best I've had. -
szm, smz, ceo……I wish you could send some of that rain my way, as we're still in a drought. Don't send enough to make leaks anywhere, but just enough to end the wildfire danger. What was the water leak in the kitchen? I can't believe the weekend is almost over. Time just flew by, as usual. I had a ride this afternoon in 2011 F-350 which was huge. It was just beautiful though. It had a/c seats, which I've never sat on before. It was a weird feeling. I have to water a friend's plants yet today, and then I'm done for the weekend. NASCAR is on in the background as I putter around. I hope you had a good weekend!
4731 -
$kaycog…
Yeah, you really have to watch yourself for deer when driving around here. An unusual amount seem to be getting hit by cars within the last month too which is weird.
And congratulations on you winning the American Unclaimed Money Corporation! It must feel like landing on the "Free Parking" in Monopoly! One of my friend's is really quick on his feet and would always have great things to say to telemarketers. I just hope the AUMC doesn't succeed in taking advantage of people.
4732 -
mzs…
Once strawberry plants get established they can really spread. After the strawberry season is done my dad just let's the patch grow and fill in all of the walking paths between the rows. Then in the fall, to keep the strawberry plants contained, my dad just runs the tiller through the patch at the location where he wants walking paths for the next season. He also runs the tiller along the edge to keep a buffer between the yard and the patch.
DASTOW sure looks like fun. I remember a guy like Mr. Freeze coming to our school when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. It was very cool. My favorite part was when he froze a banana in liquid nitrogen and then shattered it on the floor. Who knew science could be fun!
4733 -
Hi Stormies, was a really busy day after being gone so long, sorry. Here's Spider Jake:
[youtube jdupE7jj7cs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdupE7jj7cs youtube]
Tower, Mr. Freeze has a whole schtick, one of his things is he freezes a banana and then uses it to hammer in a nail. But the funniest one to me is where he freezes a rubber glove that he wears on one hand. He has his fingers curled-up inside and he dips the fingers of the glove in the liquid nitrogen. Then using another gloved hand he crushes the fingers. At first everyone gasps like he has frozen and his real fingers like glass, but then he straightens them out again, hee hee hee. But the best part is when he says why he wears a glove on the other hand. "Have you ever had to fill-out the paperwork with the safety office about how you cut your hand with a rubber glove?" That made me laugh π
Skaycog, I think AC seats would make me want to pee all the time, they used to have crotch vents in cars, I had it closed in the one car I owned that had it. The leak in the kitchen was a clogged pipe making things back-up. But instead of calling me right away Aga tried some things. It became three clogged pipes and an overflowing garbage disposal leaking out the side discharge π I had to cut a pipe to fix it, there was not much room, it was annoying. The leak in the basement, I think I know what is going on, I'll go see if I have it figured-out later. But first the bees and trim. Oh and Aga put up many many pictures: http://agamama.blogspot.com/
Have a good one,
4735 -
$kaycog…
My weekend was good. Strawberry picking Friday and Sunday afternoon. Saturday was full of shopping, the normal food shopping and then some not so normal items including a mattress and a home theater receiver. We also went to the farmer's market in downtown Madison with by brother and his girlfriend. I was able to talk them into checking out the capital building afterwords which was really cool!
I'm glad that you are enjoying whatever it is you are doing. That's really the key in life!
4736-
I almost forgot to tell you. On my drive into work on Friday I was passed by a very nice '65 or '66 (I'm not totally sure on the year) Mustang Convertible. I see them at car shows a lot but actually seeing one on my morning commute was cool. It looked fantastic amongst all of the sedans and SUVs. It looked quite small and lean and really put into perspective how big our current "small" cars really are!

-
mzs…
hahaha…Spider Jake. I remember doing that in my parent's hallway except I had one foot and one hand on each wall. I bet if I tried that now I would push holes into the drywall or fall and break my face. Ah memories…I had totally forgotten that until your video dusted it off in my mind.
4737 -
smz, msz, zzz……That's a cute video…..Spider Jake. Michelle was quite protective of him, I noticed. Sweet! Glad you have the leaks fixed……always something for a homeowner, isn't it?
I saw a neat thing today at a stoplight. I'm sitting on frontage road and on the highway beside me was a tourist in a Chevy Suburban with a cop directly behind him with flashing emergency lights on. I thought he was probably getting pulled over for speeding. The left turn light was red for them too, when another cop drove up and blocked oncoming traffic. Then the cop behind the Suburban started pushing him for the left turn and then into a Chevy dealership on the corner. I was so impressed that the cops did that. My hat goes off to them.
Happy Taco Tuesday!
4739 -
TowerofPower…..Yes, the Mustangs of the '60's are very lean compared to the new ones, as you can see in this picture. I always enjoy seeing the classic Stangs. Your weekend sounds like a lot of fun…..touring the capital building would be very interesting. I enjoy stuff like that.
I had Chinese buffet for lunch……chicken this, chicken that and lots of veggies. YUM!

Hi Skaycog,
That was very nice of the PO. Here is a great picture from work:
<img src="http://www.fnal.gov/pub/today/images11/CattleEgrets.jpg" width="500">
It's of a red winged black bird about to attack a Cattle Egret. Those black birds are very protective of their nests. A lot fo the bikers have been attacked here and they had to close a park nearby even. I used to think it was a crow that was atacking me years ago, now I know it was one of these. They always go for the head. For fun they like to 'ride' on the backs of larger birds like eagles, hawks, and falcons!
Anyway here is a sad thing about work: http://news.sciencemag.org/scienceinsider/2011/06… Here is the last part: "The stakes are high. Not building LBNE might mean the end of Fermilab and the U.S. domestic particle physics program." Yikes!
Anyway on a lighter note along the lines of those 'stangs, a new mini parked near my Volvo yesterday at work. It's not very mini π
Have a good one,
4741 -
mzs…
Nice work getting the water out of your basement. Hopefully the LBNE works out and they are able to lock in use of your facility long term.
I'm sure you have lots of weekend plans. Any fireworks or barbeques? I'll be going to the airshow/fireworks in Dubuque which is always a lot of fun.
4744 -
mzs…
Wow, it seems like this potential shutdown at your work is closer than I realized when I read the article. I really hope everything goes well. You guys should start working on some sort of tractor beam/rail gun/proton cannon to shoot down incoming missiles…then you could dip into the defense budget!
I like the ambiguity in the bra tag. No specific cup mentioned…just big cups…hahahahah. But what if they are huge cups?!
4747 -
msz, szm, ups……I forgot this was vacation time for you. Just leave all your worries behind and just enjoy every minute of your vacation. Aga wasn't home very long between trips, was she?
I'm going to a couple of cookouts and will have company a little bit of the time.
Have fun!
I'll find us another place for this.
4748 -
TowerofPower……..Have a fun weekend in Dubuque and be safe!
As I told mzs, I'm going to a couple of cookouts and having company for a short while. I'm staying pretty close to home.
Happy 4th! Food report next week! π

This is a brilliant approach, especially because Asian Carp become much more active when they smell blood in the water.

I've never been more proud to say I was born in Peoria, IL. Though, having gone down to the banks of the river as a child to see dead fish washing up on the shore, I have to say that seeing any wildlife at all, invasive or not, is slightly refreshing. Hooray for cleaner waters!

I too lived in Peoria for a short while as a kid. I was four, we lived on the second floor, a glorified attic really. The people that lived on the lower floor, they were drug dealers. I've never been back, though it might have been the first place I ever had McDonalds, so it's got that going for it at least.

I think they meant it as a term of endearment.

I see them using the word "professional"; I don't think that they know what it means.
If they, in fact, do know what it means to be a professional, and they actually make a living doing this, I'm moving to Peoria!-
They have a special on father son bow-ski fishing, might be fun for my son and I.

If you pay, you can go and do it with them. Hopefully, it's to kill carp. I can be stupid at home for free thanks.

This looks like some sort off demented version of Redneck Jedi training.

But then when I opened the bag of ham it smelled funny, so Michelle got soup instead! If she eats it, girls try so hard not to stick out. Before she got picked-up by her friend for the class, her friend called and asked her if she was going to buy the snacks there. I gave her a dollar but also the lunch. The mom was running late I had to give Max a walk, but when I got back, Michelle had dropped her rain coat on the floor and not taken it, again likely since she wanted to not feel different π But I have to say over all my kids are really great. Like at the zoo, there were all these kids that were leaving crying and tired, parents upset, mine were awesome. Now it helps we do things with little expectations and small chunks for the visit, but still they left happy and thanked me, it was a great feeling. Early on one of the neighbors watched Jake while I mowed the lawn. I was SO grateful I wanted them to come with me to the zoo sometime (we have a membership) but it was clear they wanted to see everything! So when Michelle got sick I just gave them some tickets. I bet they will not have such a great time. What we did was the butterflies, the sting rays, the petting zoo, a picnic, play in the children's area, and a playground, etc. The only zoo stuff we saw was as we were leaving but the kids had blast pretending to be vets, face painting, doing puppet shows, making silly hats, not typical zoo stuff which is a lot of walking around in the heat looking at animals that are hiding. Oh man what a rant! Sorry π

Anyway, my dad really liked his shirt, put it on after dinner. My mom, another female, did not. Guess not stylish enough, would make her different. Eh she was all upset with her brother again, so who knows. I want to take her out for steaks and ribs on Tuesday, but if she just talks about family BS the whole time again, that will be no fun π I put a photo of the shirt on oppo last night. Oh and I slept great! When I was a kid I liked bananas with peanut butter and celery with raisins as well with peanut butter. Kids are funny! Let me know how that sandwich tastes, you likely will not be able to move your mouth but your fingers should still work!
Have a good one,
