On this date in 1948 Chuck Yeager became the first man to break the sound barrier in the Bell XS-1 rocket plane. That’s quite the achievement, but I don’t want to minimize the fact that you could make today noteworthy for another accomplishment, that being correctly solving this week’s Mystery Car.
