So, just out of curiosity, do places like Arizona not acknowledge Leap Years in the same way they don’t Daylight Saving Time? As many of you may have noticed—even those of you in Arizona—this year is a Leap Year. And what did that auspicious appended-every-four-years day give us this year? That’s right, an extra Monday. Eff Leap Year for doing that!
That may have started the week under a cloud, but we’ll finish it up in proper fashion. That of course means the weekly Mystery Car contest and a chance for all of you to exercise those big brains. Make and model if you please.

Something from the VAG group, A5 maybe?
-
Gen II Jaguar XK (2006-2014). Powered by a Tata V8 of 3.5 to 5.0l displacement.
-
They really have improved their assembly quality haven’t they? Those are Lexus tolerances.
-
Close, but the shape of the rocker doesn’t quite seem to match an it’s farther away from the door cut.

-
BMW E92, or M3, or the appropriate ALPINA spin-off.
…let God sort ’em out…-
This was my guess, too.
-
The rocker cut behind the door is too high.
Not a Z3 or Z4 either.
This is killing me because I really feel like I should know this, but I can’t come up with it.

Lexus IS C is close, but not quite right.

Now this thread has me contemplating a Qvale Mangusta or Jag XK purchase. Thanks Emslie.

Shucks! Best I can come up with is a pre-update Aston DB9, but the door shape is wrong.
