So, we’re just a few days away from that once every four years extra little something gift the calendar gives us, February 29th. I don’t know why a bigger deal isn’t made of Leap Year, after all it’s a lot less common than New Years, and we have parades and football games to celebrate that. Well, we can at least dedicate this Mystery Car as the Leap Year contest. Make and model, if you please.

I hope one of these days the answer will be Bufori La Joya

That screams late-70s/early-80s GM design and “build quality”, but I can’t place it.

Try again. You’ve owned this car, though in a different shade.

Damn, a W126.

It took me about two seconds looking at Robert’s title photo before I recognized it. W126 owner internet high five!

A W126? Oh god, my father rented for a couple of days a W126 from Herz when I was around 10 yo (the “300 SE” badge is still in my mind), I was feeling like a king in that car, one of the best memories of my childhood.

Hey, they were nice enough to clean it after taking their picture!
