I was perusing my digital photo library the other day and it came to my attention that I have a lot of pictures of cars. No, I mean A LOT OF PICTURES of cars. That benefits us all as I have a pretty rich supply of potential Mystery Car contenders like the one above. Make and Model if you please.

Really close to an Iso Lele, but not quite. Hmmm…

This one is almost too easy. I almost feel like I shouldn’t give it away yet.

Ah, the Islero. I had forgotten all about it. And I had recently seen a Lele so I had Iso tunnel vision.

Ahem, I could steal this week’s trophy by stating name (linkpin did), year and engine…

The post hadn’t been live for very long, and I didn’t want to spoil the fun, but I still wanted credit for knowing the answer. I figured that even a full image could remain a bit of a mystery to the people unfamiliar with the Lamborghini Islero.

That’s quite some gentlemanship you are showing there. Also, that’s quite some dorkmanship on my side…

Good catch. I was thinking something Maserati-ish. The Islero is a really elegant, understated car that was always in the shadow of its more daring and more famous Miura and Espada bretheren.

I see smalleyxb122 got it, but the fender tops had me thinking Ghia 450SS, but the scoop is wrong and the headlights aren’t hidden.

My initial thought went to Ghia, as well.

Perhaps of interest to the wealthier amongst us….
As driven by Roger Moore in “The Man Who Haunted Himself”. Currently up for auction, one of the five RHD versions that was actually owned by Sir Roger Moore himself and the actual car in the movie.
