Mystery Car

Welcome to this week’s Mystery Car, that finally-a-Friday frivolity that either vexes or rewards your vast knowledge of vehicular visual detail. What is that reward? Why, the admiration of your peers, that’s what. Of course that has zero monetary value, is non-transferable, and is void in Florida and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Other than that, good luck!

I Think it is a Matra DJet (no typo).

How have I never heard of a Matra DJet? I mean, how am I aware of Matra, but the Murena and Bagheera get all the press? This is lovely! It’s reminiscent of many of its contemporaries without looking like a ripoff of any of them. I see a bit of A110 mixed with Marcos GT and maybe even a little Ferrari 275 GTB thrown in.

Well, some of the press wasn’t very good…
