Mystery Car

Happy Friday, everybody! It was on this date in 1923 that the very first Checker Cab rolled off the assembly line in Kalamazoo Michigan. Checker is still to this day America’s most iconic cab, even though the last one left the factory decades ago, in fact all the way back in 1982.
You know what is still around? That’s right, the weekly Mystery Car contest. It’s not quite the icon that Checker once was, but there’s plenty of time for that. For now, you need to come up with the make and model of the above vehicle. Better be quick about it, the meter’s running.

I don’t have time to endlessly Google possibilities, so here’s a possible hint:

Checker Cabs was once owned by E.L. Cord.

IF there is a tie-in, it would be with Mr. Cords famous trio of companies: Cord, Auburn, and Duesenberg.

Is it maybe an Opel Insignia Price? A prototype from Opel.
