By day, “Norman” was your ordinary, average Formula 1 Champion. The sound of a perfectly tuned engine stirred his soul. The roar of thousands of race fans was music to his ears. He savored each perfectly clipped apex, each daring overtaking maneuver, each pole position, each thrilling victory….just like a man should. And yet, “Norman” had a dark secret.
At night, “Norma” came out to play. She loved putting on make-up, getting dressed to the nines, and going to parties, where she was the belle of the ball. While “Norman” was deadly serious and all business, “Norma” liked to laugh and have fun.
Most of all, “Norma”, like Bugs Bunny, the cast of Monty Python’s Flying Circus and Maxwell Q. Klinger, understood there was nothing sillier that a manly man (or wascally wabbit) dressed up in women’s clothes. And when you engage in a business where death is never far away, silliness is sometime the surest path to sanity. Besides, would you hide gams like these with an unflattering Nomex suit?

Great story and welcome back!
Great legs, indeed…!
And nothing contributes to shock drag like a mustache, chest hair, and sloppy tuck job…
I'd imagine that Graham was pretty secure in his masculinity. Lots of stories, too, about him starting food fights at banquets. This drag is just an episode in the long history of English dress up, and the theatrical tradition of men playing womens' roles. Glad he kept his day job, though.
A man has to have real balls to dress up like that.
I'm glad this posts are back, you were missed.
