If this wasn't a super-early Ferrari, but rather some shed-built English heap, I'd suggest an SBC swap and drive it as-is.
Everybody gotta be somewhere.
If ever there was a high dollar classic that ought to be driven as is, this is it.

Marginally OT but is Pebble Beach really considered the premier concours in the world? Not Villa D'Este?
