Sort of staying on topic: Somebody went through the troubles to find the most Russian Volga 21 and bring it to Norway. We have a Volga for sale maybe once every six months, and there’s usually some entertainment value with it. This one has a Toyota 4 cylinder (that’s a restomod I can like) with almost 500k kms on it. Price is 2500$. If it was half that, I’d be stupid enough to think a little more about it.

I’m sure he didn’t pay more than 5k NOK at maximum. But getting it here must have been an ordeal – unless the seller is one of these truckers who return with empty vessels. I’ve talked to several who just pick up cheap or weird cars in Europe and see what they can earn.
