Yesterday afternoon, the good people of Missouri got a “blue alert” looking for a 1978 Dodge 3700GT from Gotham City, MO. My first thought was “there’s a Gotham City, Missouri?” My second thought was, “wow the viral marketing for The Batman is really getting ramped up!”
Turns out neither was true as the Highway Patrol clarified a short time later with a follow-up alert. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, and it really made me wonder how much attention people really pay attention to those alerts. I was at the park and out of the other 4 families there no one even batted an eye at the alert, they just dismissed the notification.
Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.
