Long time reader and frequent commenter Sjalabais sent in today’s Last Call image. He quoted it as “Here is a 1990 Subaru Justy 1.2 AWD… ready to do ‘justyce’ do dark roads.”
I’m not sure if the 1.2-liter engine even cranks out enough juice to power thee lights.
Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.
“Oxidize, and add lightbars”
“Oxidize, and add lightbars”
Just watch out for moose…
So that’s what Hooniverse’s trusty correspondent in Finland has been working on!
Uhm, serious question here: can a 4WD 1.2 liter Subaru Justy get going fast enough to be damaged by a moose strike?
And, isn’t that thing on the roof shaped that way so a moose would slide right over the top of the car?
Assuming these things to be true, those lights are purely a vanity move.

Everything more powerful than the Flintstone’s walk-a-cars are plenty fast enough for our narrow, winding roads.
The lights are insanely over the top, but for people living in the woods here, driving long stretches on dark roads, this might actually feel right.
In all seriousness, perhaps it’s often foggy there. The background certainly looks damp.
