That’s Bill D on the bike, and the bird in the air is his partner in crime, Destiny. The event was the XDL East Sickest Trick contest and the photographer describes the action thusly:
This was their tandem attempt at sickest trick for XDL East, $500 cash, and other prizes. Both starting out on the bike they do a slow wheelie, she climbs to standing on the nose of the bike, he takes his hands off completing a no-handed wheelie with her posing on the front of the bike. I remember thinking “How will she dismount?”, well… she jumped.

You know, my gut feeling after 34 years on four wheels and 40 on two wheels is that there really isn't a whole lot of overlap between our brand of hoonery and sportbike-based moto-asshattery. Do we really want to go down this road?
