I appreciate an owner who lives by the maxim cars are meant to be driven.

get some zip ties and put that shit back on the track!
-
It's only a flesh wound!
-
Zip ties? Why? Are the floormats loose?
-
nah, reference to a stupid drifter trend.

Don't forget the race tape.

A car isn't truly yours until you've scuffed it. Now the love can begin.

Looks like the back of my two week old roadster after I spun it into a fence… Carbon fiber is expensive to repair: who knew? I guess this one's "only" fiber glass but still…
-
Just as well it’s a replica.

Breaks the heart…and the fascia.

Skaycog and engineerd had better not look at this, I can just imagine the rending of clothing, gnashing of teeth, alligator tears, etc. This is not a pretty sight.

Damn! That's a nasty crunch (ding? What is it called on fiberglass?) on a beautiful car. Even if it is a replica, the driver shouldn't go around assholing the cars in front of him with a GT40. It's damn near sacrilege.

That'll buff right out. Do we say that here? Seriously, it looks like a little new 'glass and he's back in business.
-
Every brazillionaire I've met keeps an extra hood/nose cone in the paddock for times like this.
But seriously, I'd just duct tape it and head back out. -
Sure, this individual was racing, and good for them. But, I mean, come on, take a driving class or 3. Its much less expensive to get an education that it is to repair that shit.
-
Even skilled, experienced racers bend them up now and again.

Even 7-time Formula One World Champion, Michael Schumaker wrecks on occasion. Sometimes, it's even on accident!

There is winning and there is shunting, if that is a word, both are nobel. Losing is not an option. Good on them. Now get back out there! It helps ease the pain.

well he's from Belgium and the crash happened on Spa-Franchorchamps, so it's WIN all over the place 🙂
