  1. Way Off Topic:
Custom vans in the junkyard, I do not weep for you. At the end of your time, you have lived your miles to the fullest. Even with your seatbelts attached with screws to wooden seat frames, there was no way to improve on your greatness. The everyday cars fanned out to either side of you fulfilled their purpose as well; perhaps they could have been saved, but I remember the bill at the mechanic's or the effort of the repair dwarfs loyalty to a father's Oldsmobile. The saddest are the lonely misfits, the P1800ES, MGB GT, Saab 900, Eleanor Rigby in a line of John Does. I look at them, and I see the same potential as I would for one on the road, the ingredients for something interesting, exciting, that never came together even from new. Many never had anything but hope, and with that gone I feel a great loss.

  2. Watching 'Only In America' on Histo Channel because I lost the remote.
They've got Larry riding in a sidecar with the Hells Angels. Never thought the Hell's Angels 'did' sidecars.

    1. We had the Hells Angels here this past weekend, on a poker run, and not a sidecar in sight. I will say, though, that they behaved themselves commendably and never caused any trouble. All they did was drink beer and listen to some rock and roll. No problem at all.

      1. He mentioned on the show that they are a charitable fundraising organization and organized crime is basically a thing of the past.
I figured it's what History had to say so they would put on a sidecar and let Larry ride in it.
