A pileup during Snowpocalypse 2011 (aka Snowtorious B.I.G.) along New Hampshire’s I93 resulted in one of the most implausible accidents we’ve ever seen. Somehow, despite physical probability dictating otherwise, a Ford Fusion ended up perfectly balanced on its nose, sticking straight out of the snow. I'm very excited for my trip to New England… I live California tonight on a red eye to Boston, then up to Vermont later in the weekend. I believe my rental car will be a Fusion as well. Maybe I can try and recreate this for Hooniverse.
My 2 year old was a little grumpy on his way to daycare this morning. On the last corner before the daycare, I did a big powerslide in the pathfinder, overcooked it a little, and then rather than tank-slap the kids, I let it slide gently into a snowbank, calling out "OH NO, WE'RE GOING TO CRASH!" 4-5 seconds before impact. The kid has never laughed so hard in his life. I've never been prouder.
^cool dad.
What? You've never seen someone stick a landing before?
Next, we'll be seeing the Fusion on the cover of a Wheaties Box

Classic faceplant.
8.5, not perfectly vertical, deductions from the German judge.
Looks like the coders screwed up reality's physics. Hopefully they'll release a patch soon.
Glitch in the Matrix! Watch for Agents.
The dream's collapsing!
Rescue Attempt. The agents are on to me!
notice Geek Squad emergency response team already on site.
Well with all of the software and computer nonsense in cars these days…
…divide ford by zero…
Cold Fusion is here at last.
And it's already gone horribly wrong.
Bet you can't nosestand a Fusion…. Ok double or nothin!!
The Fusion is a decent car, but the handling tradeoffs of its nose heavy layout are inescapable.
This guy should be in NYC. Anybody here can parallel park in a space one inch smaller than their car, but only a true New Yorker can vertical park.
"Ok…now let's carefully open the door…"
In other news, University of New Hampshire mathematicians reported a surprising incidence of flipped coins landing on their edges . . .
I saw that on the news last night, and I couldn't figure it out, either. BTW, the video has been taken down.
They were probably from Mass.
As a New Hampshire driver who's spent plenty of time south of the border, fitting in down there is an art form. A violent art form.
