That’s “viewing pleasure” for you non-Deutschaphones. But you don’t need to speak German to appreciate this late-60s-ish (they look like SWB 911s to me, but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong) film of the Porsche factory building the cars, a race at Daytona, and road testing (including some very clear examples of the meaning of oversteer). 7 videos after the jump.

Boss. Can't wait to watch those tonight!
I probably should have scheduled this for the evening … how many people can watch 20 min of video at work? I guess that's what feed aggregators are for. But they are boss, so it's worth your while to fend off the missus and enjoy em.
Awesome footage. And dig those groovy beats, man!
That video should have had a warning at the beginning: "for full understanding and appreciation, please roast some ganja." I only made it as far as the duck part.
[…] can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed. Found it on Hooniverse: https://hooniverse.com/blog/2010/03/1…achtungsgenus/ […]
What a wonderful factory promo video. What I wouldn't do to be able to pick up a brand-new early 70's 911–even if it didn't match the color of my eyes.
Those aren't SWB cars… it looks like most of them are 1973 models. That's the only year with black horn grilles, and only the 72-73s had 2.4L engines. Awesome videos. I think I'll take my '73 911E out for a spin today.
