Earlier on this Hooniverse Truck Thursday, this olelongrooffan did a post about Steam Whistle’s newest edition to their fleet.
As cool as that fleet is,
the vintage work fleet that once belonged to the original owner of this Jerrari is just as sweet, if not sweeter.
Yeah, in addition to owning a damn whole bunch of cars that are now the backbone of the National Automobile Museum’s collection, Bill Harrah’s Hotels sported this cool as hell fleet in the early 1960’s. A FC 150, a VW single cab, a Cameo, and a couple of European, but not your everyday Volkswagen, buses.
And that Gravely tractor with the snow blade in front of that FC? This olelongrooffan remembers watching my older brothers hooning one of those old beasts back in the day.
If there is a picture of the truck fleet in Hoon Heaven, to this olelongrooffan, this is the one.

Harrah’s Fleet= ? shamelessly stolen a long time ago from these tubes
Plus, the gift shop at that museum has bargain basement prices on notepads with sketches of cool cars printed on them: 1980s BMW 6 series, Maser Biturbo, Ferrari 400i, Lotus Europa, etc. They make great stocking stuffers!
Quick! Someone with P-shop and skills mock up the other vehicle – the Ferrareep.

I dunno, something malaise-y about it…
Some Mustang II, some Vega, some Matador… I'd drive it. I'd definitely prefer the other possible combination (above), though.
Outstanding! It's evocative of a claw hammer.
<poof>, dammit! I want to subject someone else to an hour of this…thing!
At least one of those vans might be a Fiat.

I looked around these tubes a bunch trying to ID those vans when I first found this image. I don't believe they are Fiats due to the windows and the turn signal light placement. But then again, this olelongrooffan has been known to have been mistaken many, many times.
And <poof>, I think.
I am fairly sure those are Ford Thames 400E vans, not VWs.
