What would you think of a music video that’s a mashup of all the coolest scenes from the seminal car chase movie Vanishing Point? Further, what if that video replaced Barry Newman – the solo driver hell bent on destruction – with the four members of Audioslave? Considering that band is itself a mashup of the former members of both Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden, what would you think then?
Well, don’t bother taxing your brain on a Monday morning because we have just that very video – for Show Me How to Live off of Audioslave’s eponymously named 2003 album. And you can get right to the vanishing point just after the jump.

That license plate: what a coincidence!
Here is another one that borrows the Vanishing Point vibe. Sorry, but I couldn't find an embeddable Youtube version.

Good song. Wish we had more good music on the airwaves these days like this.
Everything about that was cool.
I wasn't prepared to like it… I was expecting to hate everything about it. But no, damn cool.
It starts with a truck. Also, if I'm cranking Audioslave in the car, it's usually this song.

But my musical taste is eclectic to the point eccentrism. Much like my choice in vehicles, haha.
But let's get back to the cars. And I'll trade your Chrysler for a drop top Caddy…
