There’s different kinds of car music – those which serve as sound track to your highway heroics, those which make you pine for such highway heroics, and those which make you think about the same highway heroics while booty grinding out at a club. Taio Cruz’s Fast Car represent’s the last form, and was written specifically for the American release of his 2012 album, T.YO..
That may be why the British singer/songwriter agreed to populate the video for the song with so much classic American iron, including one of the Challengers from the execrable Justin Timberlake film outing, In Time. Check out Taio and his scarf, the concrete expanses of the LA River, and a whole lotta’ Mopar after the jump.

Speaking of songs about cars that aren't really about cars.

"Made my driveshaft crank, made my pistons bulge, made my BABAMEFAHEEEEE!!! OHH YEAH YEAH"
Sorry. I think "Fast Car" and "song" in the same sentence, I think this:

If you are going to make the effort to CGI a 1970 Challenger crashing into an immovable object, you might as well go all-out with the Vanishing Point tribute and switch it to a Camaro at the end.

How about this rallying cry for rallying?

Wait, that's not what "Gravel Pit" is referring to?
"Wrecking" a Classic Car and a resto mod for the sake of a so-so video? I'll stick with my two favorite kinds of music, country and western.
