False Neutral Podcast #121 – Motorcycle Forums & YouTube Channels

Are Internet motorcycle forums still viable? still useful? If they are headed the way of the dodo, what is (or should) replace them? On this installment, I talk about the decline of forums and why that led me to reconstitute my own project bike blog (Tanshanomi.com). Then we look at YouTube video channels that are both technical and entertaining.

Eric has had a close look at the Desert X. Phil Reed of Ducati gave him all the details, and Eric passes them along to us.

And finally, I’ve been window shopping, and trying to determine if a dashing new Triumph Bobber, a luxurious Can-Am Spyder RT, or my same-old Spyder RS-S is in my foreseeable future.

Here are YouTube channels we refer to in this episode:

Ducati DesertX
2021 Ducati Multistrada 950
2021 BMW R1250GS
2021 Ducati Monster 937
2022 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Gold Line
Pete’s 2013 Can-Am Spyder RS-S
2021 Can-Am Spyder RT
