As an adult, the concept of a birthday party for a child is slightly less fun than it was before. You could avoid a house full of screaming, Nerf-shooting human larvae with a fistful of scotch, or you could bake those snot-nosed punks these cakes and introduce them to the joys of motoring at an early age. Like the catchphrase of cigarette executives, “get ’em when they’re young!”

Car cakes make your kid's birthday party a little more tolerable

"auto.china.com" Oh no you don't. I ain't eating any melamine-coated lead biscuits.

when i was probably 5 or 6 my mom made me a 'road cake' it was a regular square cake.. covered in frosting and had a curving road on it that was made of individually placed sixlets.. driving on the route sixlet-six was a 1/32 scale 63' split window corvette..
i think i still have the toy somewhere -
I would eat a solid dozen of the Porsche cupcakes. And die shortly thereafter from melamine-related diabetes. It'd totally be worth it.

Had this made for John's 43rd by the crazy gang at Charm City Cakes:

My birthday is Sunday. My daughter is a budding cake designer (where she got her artistic abilities is a total mystery to my wife & I). Cupcake picture printed. She now has a mission whether she chooses to accept it or not! Thank you BZR!

It's going to take more than a well-designed cupcake to get me to attend any of my kids' birthday parties. I got beers to drink.
