I saw this 1970 Duster last Sunday on the parking lot of the newly opened local hypermarket. Since everything around it is dusty and brown after the winter, it sort of suits the scenery extremely well.

Dusters have actually been relatively popular around here, in the hooning crowd. Check this survivor out.

Even if you probably could order such a hue on the Duster way back in the day, the paintjob here is probably a fresh modification.

The wheels suit it extremely well. It’s a simple shape, less flashy than the AMC I posted last Friday, but still cool.

I’ve always liked the Duster’s slit-like taillights. They give the rear end a touch of menacingness.

It’s probably fair to say no other car on the enormous parking lot is as interesting as this Duster is.

      1. That's going on the palette of my fantasy car company. Right next to Ornch and Pulse Magnetic Yellow.

  1. I had a 71 Barracuda that color. I believe the color was called Autumn Bronze Metallic. I do prefer the term Copper Feel! It plays well with the punny names for color Mopar had in the early 70's!
